Ali and Mina were deeply honored to have the opportunity to spend time, dance, perform and at the Live It Up! home for rescued children in Uganda as part of their birthday celebration. The trip was filled with more surprises including being able to help build the Salam Hall at the Islamic School to witnessing the love of a family who built a mosque in honor of their Baba for a community that truly needed it. As cliche as it sounds, this was a life-changing experience for them both and they can’t wait to go back and continue the work started.
